50 CENT ARRESTED IN SAINT KITTS.

50 Cent was arrested over the weekend after a performance in St. Kitts. According to Rolling Stone, during the rapper’s set on Saturday (June 25) on the Caribbean island he cursed onstage while performing “P.I.M.P.”

On the island of St. Kitts, there is a law that prohibits cursing on stage. 50 Cent allegedly knew about the law but still dropped a curse in the song. After his appearance, authoritiescame and charged 50 Cent with using explicit language in public.

“[Curtis “50 Cent”] Jackson was only booked to host the show, when he arrived at the festivalorganizers asked him to perform, he obliged and used the DJ they had there,” his representative told Rolling Stone. “Unfortunately, they didn’t have the clean version to histracks, so there were profanities used during his performance. The show was a great success and he will make sure for future trips to St. Kitts that he leaves the ‘motherf——‘ in the United States.”

The "profanity in public" charge is said to be a minor offense, but it does mean the rapper won't be able to leave Saint Kitts until Monday after his hearing, where he will pay a fine -- kind of like a swearing jar. Outside of the tax, spending another day on the islands doesn't seem like the worst punishment for 50.
